Today on Stripped Bare FM, we have the pleasure of talking to Carol Carpenter, a stunt performer and the owner of Motovixens, located in Seattle.
Carol Carpenter’s inspirational story:
In this episode, Carol shares with us how she turned a bucket list item to her business in her 40’s after her divorce. Her story leads up to that turning point moment, as she tells us about her struggles with her mother’s death from lung cancer and her diagnosis with cervical cancer at the age of 19.
She reveals to us about her mother’s dream for her was to become a doctor. However, after her mother passed away, she realized that’s not what she wanted and dropped out of medical school. She went on her own journey and eventually married and became a full-time mom.
When her children became teens, the marriage fell apart and divorce ensued. She felt like she had lost her identity and that’s where her journey of self-discovery and purpose began. Little did she know that through writing her bucket list she would find her passion in motorsports. She started her Motovixens business with the initial purpose to connect with other women riders and become the go-to with all issues related to riding motorbikes. This led her to become a leader in the motorsports world. As Carol says: “If you have a dream of being something, do it because you just never know!”
That statement got her to where she is now, a successful entrepreneur and a sponsor of:
